Zalando: More Than Half of Sales in 2011 by Cross-border E-commerce

With net sales of €510 million euros in 2011 Zalando was able to more than triple its net sales compared to the previous year: in 2010 net sales were still only €150 million.

“We are pleased with the positive sales results for 2011. They depict a successful and sustainably applied development of one of the most successful E-Commerce-enterprises in Europe. Zalando is not only growing in terms of the enormously increased sales, but also with regard to the substance of the company,” says Robert Gentz, founder and CEO of Zalando GmbH, in the press release published today.
