Zalando and SaldiPrivati win European E-Commerce Awards

Last week on June the 5th in Barcelona, at the occasion of the Global E-Commerce Summit 2012, the second European E-Commerce Awards were announced. The prize for the “Best Cross Border Webshop” was secured by the German company Zalando; the Italian candidate, SaldiPrivati, was convincing in the category, “Best Webshop of Europe”.

At so much praise one could really “scream for joy”: Zalando convinced the jury not only by its good expansion strategy, which not only give its customers in every target market the feeling that they are shopping at a local branded store, but also made a good impression through its good logistics, brand and marketing strategy.
