In less than a month, the Global E-commerce Summit (GES) 2017 will kick off in Barcelona! From 12 to 14 June, the Fairmont Rey Juan Carlos Hotel will become the theatre of one of the biggest e-commerce conferences in Europe. The Summit will provide digital B2C commercial stakeholders a platform to learn about the latest and most impactful disruptions, develop and nurture professional networks and showcase e-commerce ecosystem services. The event – that is hosted by Ecommerce Europe and organized by BBP Media – is taking more and more shape as we are approaching the date.
As mentioned before, Ecommerce Europe is organizing a Policy Arena with four sessions within the program of the GES. The policy sessions will touch upon key areas for the e-commerce sector: consumer policies, VAT, digital currencies and parcel delivery. In the past weeks, we presented some of our distinguished speakers. Today, we are delighted to add two new speakers for these policy tracks.

Roel Boer is an entrepreneur with 10 years of experience and is the co-founding CEO of Nocks. Roel is responsible for strategy, design, content and acquisition. He aims to reshape finance with Nocks by combining new technologies such as blockchain with existing infrastructure.
Roel will join the blockchain and digital currencies policy track at the Global E-commerce Summit.

A Serial Entrepreneur in the Digital field, with a background on from Marketing and Finance in Paris and a self-made in IT development, Gabriele SIBIO is specialised in e-commerce and Marketplace management. Focused on Fashion area and marketplace service, he aims to provide marketplace solutions and innovation within Europe. He developed a unique translation algorithm SEO friendly that translate automatically websites and marketplace.
Gabriele will join the consumer policies policy track at the Global E-commerce Summit.
