On 11 April Ecommerce Europe’s Swiss national association, Netcomm Suisse, organized the event ‘Destination Switzerland’ in the Italian city of Milan. The event was a successful promotion of Switzerland as a destination for digital ventures. The participation of a vast number of stakeholders, public administration representatives and entrepreneurs created the perfect field for sharing experiences, knowledge and practical information on the current and future developments in the European e-commerce market and wider digital sector. The participants had the opportunity to listen to concrete case-studies and life experiences from CEOs of successful Swiss online merchants such as Lifelike and Inno & Fashion Center as well as meet and interact with relevant government stakeholders and entrepreneurs.
Ecommerce Europe is excited to see its national associations so proactive. As the voice of 20 national associations throughout Europe, we strongly support initiatives that provide a platform for the necessary expert discussions, connecting stakeholders from the supplier, retailer and government sides to achieve innovative market solutions for sustainable future growth of the European e-commerce industry.
