According to the mobile and web performance management firm Keynote Systems Inc, m-commerce sites that run slower than expected may be losing customers. Data produced from the survey of 5,000 U.S. adults users of mobile devices showed that the ‘expectation gap’ has tightened considerably on mobile platforms, with slow loading of mobile web pages cited by two-thirds of smartphone users as the most frustrating aspect of their mobile web experience. 50% of smartphone users also cited sites that were not optimised for smartphone usage.
