Ecommerce Europe Annual Conference 2016

This year’s event takes place on May 30 and will be part of the Global Ecommerce Summit (May 29 – June 1) under the theme “Shaping the future of digital commerce”. The Ecommerce Europe Annual Conference is Europe’s leading e-commerce  platform focused on information exchange, learning and networking.

How can Europe ensure its place in the future digital economy and foster cross-border e-commerce? These key questions will be at the heart of the three theme sessions addressing issues of e-Regulation, e-Payments and e-Logistics.

Ecommerce Europe is pleased to announce the first confirmed speakers for the Ecommerce Europe Annual Conference.

Katrina Sichel

Director of Communications, Burson-Marsteller

Katrina has a broad, eclectic mix of experience in communications as a TV producer, media trainer, voiceover artist, campaign director and event moderator. Former Director of a London-based TV PR company, where she interviewed high-profile figures from the worlds of art, sport, film, fashion and politics, Katrina brought her skills to Brussels in 2007.

Katrina will moderate the opening plenary session of the Ecommerce Europe Annual Conference.

Stefan Krawczyk

Associate General Counsel, Head of Government Relations International, eBay.com

An international copyright and trademark litigator by training, Stefan joined eBay in 2009, 
where he now leads the online marketplace’s European Government Relations team covering all
of eBay’s interests, including e-commerce, mobile commerce and distribution and sales.

Stefan will join the e-Regulations session as a panellist during the Ecommerce Europe 
Annual Conference.

Liz Oakes

Director Management Consulting, KPMG UK

Liz has more than 20 years of experience in payment systems both in central clearing and settlement systems and in bank payments systems design globally. This experience includes SEPA, Faster Payments, and BACS in 
the UK and work on national systems redesign, platform renewal and payments outsourcing projects.

Liz will moderate the e-Payments workshop at the Ecommerce Europe Annual Conference.

David Vuylsteke

Founder, PiggyBee

From a young age, David has had a keen eye for entrepreneurial and business opportunities, music, travelling and languages. From completing a 35-day tour of the US as a student to using a variety of influences for new business ventures, he has done it all.

David will join the Ecommerce Europe Annual Conference as a speaker.
