Ecommerce Europe’s Board of Directors presented a growth in overall performance during its Board meeting in Brussels on October 9th. The Board welcomed the Finish Kauppa.fi as a new association of Ecommerce Europe. Vice-President Wijnand Jongen presented growth in both Ecommerce Europe’s Company Member and Business Partner programmes. Besides that, two position papers – regarding E-Payments and E-Regulations – were also adopted during the meeting.
The Board of Directors approved position papers on E-Payments and E-Regulations by working committees. Both New position papers clearly set out Ecommerce Europe’s position on a variety of European political issues, such as for example the Common European Sales Law, the Data Protection regulation, Dispute Resolutions, Consumer Rights and also payment issues which are currently under the attention of European law-makers.
