On 5 and 6 June, Ecommerce Hungary will host the 15th Hungarian Ecommerce Conference “Intelligence without borders, all about the future of commerce” in Visegrad. The conference will gather more than 400 guests for two full days of discussion on the future of commerce and exchanges of best practices between e-merchants.
Ecommerce Europe has been invited to take part in two panel discussions to present and discuss regulatory developments at European level. Walter Trezek, Senior advisor for Ecommerce Europe, will present the major changes, new business models and upcoming opportunities for Cross-border Ecommerce, focusing notably on the implementation of the VAT Ecommerce Package. Juliette Beaulaton, Public Affairs Advisor on digital transactions, will present the current and upcoming regulatory challenges in the e-commerce sector and the overall activities of Ecommerce Europe.
The presentations will highlight the different topics under discussion in the European Union and the potential consequences for the daily activities of online merchants. Ecommerce Europe will seize this opportunity to stress how valuable the testimonies and daily experiences of merchants are to shape the position of the association and to ensure that European legislation enables the growth of European SMEs.
