Next week, Ecommerce Europe and Ecommercefacts will organize the Round Table in Prague. The Round Tables take place in a dinner setting several times a year for discussion on matters concerning cross-border e-commerce. They offer an ideal platform for directors of European online retailers to network and exchange knowledge and ideas. Moreover, it is an exceptional opportunity for e-commerce professionals to talk about issues such as logistics, payments, marketing possibilities and market data.
This edition of the Round Tables will take place in Hotel Majestic Plaza, Prague, on April 29. The issues that will be discussed on the event mainly evolve around the harmonization of cross-border e-commerce and current projects of Ecommerce Europe. National e-commerce reports of the Czech Republic and Central Europe, as well as the global perspective will be presented. In addition the Ecommerce Benchmark and the Shopping Tomorrow project are on the agenda.
Keynote speaker of this Round Table will be Mr. Richard van Welie (photo), Ecommerce Europe’s Research & Advice editor and provider of content for the National E-commerce Reports and other studies. Furthermore, he was responsible for the Dutch ShoppingTomorrow book project, in which nearly 700 experts from the retail, finance and travel industry gave advice on how Dutch B2C entrepreneurs should prepare themselves for the customer of the future.
